GENERAL QUESTIONS:
The results of LED light therapy depend on the skin condition, the selected mode, and the regularity of use. The first changes in skin appearance may be noticeable after several weeks of consistent use, and for more significant results, regular long-term use is recommended.
The ORRA LED mask is designed as part of a long-term skincare routine, so consistency, rather than one-off treatments, is key.
The ORRA LED mask uses 3 different light modes, each designed for different skin needs:
Red + Near-Infrared Light (660 + 850 nm) – intended for mature skin care. These wavelengths penetrate deeper and are the most extensively researched in photobiomodulation. They help support collagen production, skin firmness and elasticity, and reduce the appearance of fine lines.
Blue Light (460 nm) – intended for blemish-prone and acne-prone skin care. 460 nm blue light works on the skin's surface and is used for its effect on acne-related bacteria.
Yellow Light (590 nm) – intended for dull, unevenly toned, or redness-prone skin care. The effect of yellow light on the skin is less studied than red and near-infrared light, but research indicates its potential for skin appearance and redness-related processes.
In brief: red + NIR – for firmness and signs of aging, blue – for acne-prone skin, yellow – for skin tone and the appearance of redness.
The ORRA LED mask is recommended for use 3–5 times per week, selecting the light mode appropriate for your skin's needs.
Regular use is more important than long sessions. LED light therapy works gradually, so the best results can be expected by consistently incorporating the mask into your daily skincare routine.
No. A higher number of LEDs does not automatically mean a more effective LED mask.
When evaluating and comparing LED face masks, it is important to consider not only the number of LEDs, but also the light wavelengths used, light intensity, LED placement, the uniformity of light distribution, and how well the mask fits the face.
The ORRA mask uses 216 LED light sources, positioned to distribute light across the entire facial area. The mask features three targeted light modes: red and near-infrared light (660 + 850 nm), blue light (460 nm), and yellow light (590 nm).
Therefore, when choosing an LED mask, we recommend evaluating the technology as a whole, rather than just the highest number of LEDs.
Yes. LED light therapy is non-invasive – the skin is not mechanically damaged during the procedure, and no acids or other active cosmetic ingredients are used.
Nevertheless, each person's skin sensitivity is individual. If the skin is extremely sensitive, photosensitizing medications are being used, there are skin diseases or increased sensitivity to light, it is recommended to consult a doctor or dermatologist before using the LED mask.
When using ORRA for the first time, we recommend starting with a shorter procedure and observing the individual skin reaction.
Use the ORRA LED mask on clean, dry skin. Before the procedure, remove makeup, creams, serums, and other products.
After the LED light treatment, you can continue your usual skincare routine and use a serum, cream, or other products suitable for your skin.
Recommended sequence: skin cleansing → completely dry skin → ORRA LED mask → usual skincare products.
ORRA was designed not for the highest possible number of LEDs, but for the most important parameters of LED light therapy – precisely selected wavelengths, even light distribution, and a good fit of the mask to the face.
The mask uses 216 LED light sources and 3 targeted modes: red + near-infrared light (660 + 850 nm), blue (460 nm), and yellow (590 nm). This allows you to choose a mode based on different skin needs.
ORRA is also flexible and ultra-light (~120 g), making it comfortable to wear and suitable for regular home use.
When choosing an LED mask, it's worth comparing more than just the number of LEDs. Light wavelength, intensity, session duration, and distribution are important parameters for photobiomodulation.
